The NRILP (Oikeuspoliittinen tutkimuslaitos) is a research institute operating in connection with the Finnish Ministry of Justice. The Institute for Criminal Law and Criminology conducts education and research in the field of criminal law and criminology. One of its main research areas is the study of national and international patterns of homicide.
