Clinical study of color Doppler signals in hepatic neoplasms enhanced with intravenous ultrasound contrast agent
2000
Objective To study the enhancement of color Doppler signals on hepatic neoplasms with intravenous ultrasound contrast agent and to evaluate the significance in diagnosis of hepatic neoplasms. Methods By injecting contrast agent intravenously, survey color Doppler signals of 75 nodes of neoplasms in 33 cases of hepatic tumor in pre contrast and post contrast. Results The color Doppler signal was obviously enhanced in neoplasms and peri neoplasms(25 nodes) of 16 cases with primary hepatic carcinomas. There was not enhanced in neoplasms(22 nodes) of 6 cases with secondary hepatic carcinomas, but there was a significant enhancement in peri neoplasms. The signal was enhanced in peri neoplasms(28 nodes) of 11 cases with hepatic hemangioma, which came out after injection, but not immediately. Conclusion It plays an important useful role in diagnosis and treatment of hepatic neoplasms to inject ultrasound contrast agent intravenously .
