The present invention discloses a nano-nickel-hydrotalcite-based material and method for nickel-base electrode material is a highly active nickel metal-doped trivalent. The present invention employs a method of synthesizing microemulsion confinement, compared to the conventional production method, mild preparation conditions and easy to industrialize amplification, trivalent nickel-synthesized material provides a practical method and ideas. Synthesis of the present invention is a nickel-doped trivalent hydrotalcite material, exhibits an extremely superior electrical capacitance supercapacitor aspect, to achieve (at 1.5A / g Conditions) 2810F / g, is free of trivalent nickel-hydrotalcite material (100F / g) of 28 times; and at high currents, there still remains a very good effect of charge and discharge, and excellent stability. Synthesis of the present invention is a nickel-doped trivalent series of super-capacitor electrode material, much better than traditional Ni-based electrode material, and the synthetic method is simple, easy to operate, simple process, easy to mass production.
