Omisión de nutrientes: eficiencias de absorción, rendimiento y calidad de semilla en la formación de un híbrido de maíz

2018
Corn is one of the most cultivated cereals worldwide and of great importance for human and animal food. In this work, we evaluated the incidence of the omission of nutrients, on the absorption of nutrients, yield and quality of seed, in the formation of a corn hybrid, using seven treatments of omission of N, P, K, Mg, S, Zn and B, one of complete fertilization, one under technical recommendation and an absolute witness. The data were analyzed statistically, evaluating agronomic variables, yield, vigor and fertilization efficiencies. As a result, it was found that the highest yield was 2134 kg ha-1 of seed obtained with the omission of S, the omissions did not affect the vigor of the seed and the EA were 6.31 kg kg-1 of N; 19.05 kg kg-1 of P; 12.64 kg kg-1 of K; 9.31 kg kg-1 of S; 15.30 kg kg-1 Mg; 25.56 g kg-1 of Zn and 144.44 g kg-1 of B; the EARs were 0.29/N; 0.76/P, 0.65/K, 0.67/S, 0.42/Mg, 1.73/Zn and 7.79/B. It was also determined that the length and diameter of ears are limited by the omission of K, being that the nutrition priorities of the parents of the corn hybrid, in the area of Quevedo, had the sequence P> N = Mg = K >> Zn> B >> S.
