Preliminary Study on Screening of Antimony-tolerant Microbes

By gradient screening method,a strain antimony resistance microorganism was screened from contaminated soil by antimony(ρ(Sb)=548 μg/g).The strain was identified as penicillium.Culture conditions were that the optimal wave bed rate was of 150 r/min,optimal cultivation temperature was of 25 ℃,optimal pH=6.5.The strain was sensitive to alkaline environment.The adsorption capacity increased with initial antimony concentration in culture medium.The highest absorption rate for Sb was 63%.When Sb concentration was higher than 600 μg/mL,the strain' growth would be inhibited.
