Local inhibition of microtubule dynamics by dynein is required for neuronal cargo distribution

Microtubule dynamics are essential for axonal transport. In C. elegans, the authors show that dynein heavy chain regulates the spatial distribution of dendritic microtubules which ensures correct transport progression.
