Analysis to optimize output power of energy harvester with boost converter in CMOS rectifier circuit

This paper presents the analysis study on the optimization of the energy harvester with the boost converter in CMOS rectifier circuit. Energy harvester which received electricity from a low-input ambient energy needs the rectifier circuit to reduce its energy losses. Boost converter in CMOS rectifier is required to multiply the output voltage while minimizing the complexity of the circuitry. The analysis-based simulation for external parameters in proposed rectifier circuit is done using the 0.18-micron CMOS process technology. The measured results show good agreement with the simulated-based analysis to optimize the output power for the proposed rectifier circuit.
