The invention provides a light guide plate and a backlight module comprising the same. The light guide plate comprises a light guide layer and a metal reflective layer. The light guide layer is provided with a light exit surface and a bottom surface which are opposite, and a light entrance surface positioned between the light exit surface and the bottom surface. An average absorbance of the light guide layer at a range from 400 nanometers to 550 nanometers is greater than an average absorbance of the light guide layer at a range from 550 nanometers to 700 nanometers. The metal reflective layer is arranged at the bottom surface of the light guide layer. An average reflectivity of the metal reflective layer at a range from 400 nanometers to 550 nanometers is greater than an average reflectivity of the metal reflective layer at a range from 550 nanometers to 700 nanometers. Light enters into the light guide layer from the light entrance surface, and the light leaves the light guide layer from the light exit surface after being reflected by the metal reflective layer at the bottom surface. So color of the light leaving from the light guide plate is relatively uniform.
