Method for cancer detection, progression analysis and malign tumor prognosis based on the study of metabolic markers of the cell, which is the use of the study of protein expression of the bioenergetic function of the mitochondrion, and subunit catalytic to the H + -ATP synthase, for structural proteins and mitochondrial respiration, such as Hsp 60 and cytochrome oxidase subunits I and IV, respectively, and the mitochondrial bioenergetic index (reason-ATPase / hsp60; a-ATPase / COX I; a-ATPase / COX IV) again based respect to the cellular expression of proteins of the glycolytic pathway, such as glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase and pyruvate kinase are M, to generate the bioenergetic index of the cell.
