Amplitude and Phase Measurements of Electromagnetic Fields to Indicate Wave Propagation and Radiation

2005
Electromagnetic (EM) field-pattern measurements are currently one of the hottest subjects. Field patterning helps us to understand how EM waves propagate and what types of phenomenon occur. Steady-field distributions have already been studied for antenna technologies, microwave technologies and EMC analyses. Not many animated fields determined using numerical computations have been reported. However, the EM waves in the real world or in the space near our living area have not been shown thus far. Therefore, the authors tried to show the behavior or propagation of real EM waves given through precise measurements. The authors have succeeded in showing wave propagation for EM waves moving along a parallel transmission line
