Recent 5-year investigation of nosocomial infection with lung cancer in Jianghan Oilfield General Hospital

Objective: To investigate the infection risk factors which affect patients with lung cancer in hospital.Methods: We used a retrospective investigation method to analyze 198 cases of nosocomial infection of lung cancer patients in the past 5 years in our hospital.Results: The Nosocomial Infection rate of lung cancer patients was 27.02%,which was 4.93 times of Nosocomial Infection for the same period;Respiratory infection accounted for the top of Nosocomial Infection;30 G-strains of bacteria,16 G+ strains of bacteria and 10 strains of fungi were detected from the specimens submitted;Age,clinical stage,length of stay,number of radiotherapy,leukopenia,irrational use of antibiotics and hormones,and invasive operation are all the risk factors for Hospital Infection of lung cancer patients.Conclusion: Reducing risk infection factors,improving immunity,timely diagnosis and appropriate treatment will be the key of reducing the Hospital Infection of lung cancer patients.
