Deficiencies in Developmental Oral Health Knowledge among Pediatric Residents

Purpose: Developmental oral health (DOH) is a major component of pediatric oral health. Pediatricians must possess a comprehensive understanding of DOH in order to recognize normal patterns of human dentition, educate families about DOH, and refer patients with oral abnormalities.
