Analysis of Power Factor for Chopper Cascade Speed Regulation System

Firstly,the principle of chopper cascade speed regulation system is simply presented.And then mostly the power factor of chopper cascade speed regulation system is analyzed.In the analysis,the magnetizing current of motor and the commutating angles of diode and controlled rectifiers are taken into account.The calculation methods of power factor for chopper cascade speed regulation system are established,and using simulink model of chopper cascade speed regulation system providing for Sinoecon Corporation Limited validates the result of calculation.The results indicate the calculation method is validity.
