System and method of extraction to extract the microorganisms contained in a sample

This extraction system (2) comprises a support bar (3) comprising a sample well (4), a reagent well (5), at least one washing shaft (6.1, 6.2), and at least one housing protection and retention (9); a pipetting element (10) removably mounted on the support bar (3) and extending at least partially into the at least one housing for protection and retention (9); and a filtration and transfer device (10) for capturing and accumulating microorganisms contained in the sample and to transfer the captured and accumulated microorganisms, the filtration and transfer device (10) being removably mounted on the carrier strip (3) and extending at least partially into the at least one housing for protection and retention (9). The filtration and transfer device (11) comprises a hollow body (12) having an elongated shape and having a proximal end portion (12.1) and a distal end portion (12.2); and a filter element (13) attached to the distal end portion (12.2) of the hollow body (12).
