Nuclear Magnetic Resonances of Fe57 in Fe4N and Mn55 in Mn4N

NMR lines of /sup 57/Fe in Fe/sub 4/N and /sup 55/Mn in Mn/sub 4/N were observed at liquid-air temperatures. The resonance lines of the corner site were narrow and strong, being detectable by the steady-state method. The lines of the face-centered site were wide and weak and could be detected only by the pulsed NMR method. (C.E.S.)
