Determination of Five Heavy Metals in Jelly by ICP-MS after Sealed Digestion

2012
Contents of As,Pb,Cd,Cr and Hg in jelly were determined by atomic absorption spectrometry(AAS),atomic fluorescence spectrophotometry(AFS) and inductively coupled plasma mass-spectrography(ICPMS).Five elements were determined by standard curve method. The results obtained from three instrumental analysis methods were compared, which showed that the linear calibration curves for AAS,AFS and ICP-MS were good. The measurement results of these methods were close. The lowest detection limits of As,Pb,Cd,Cr and Hg were 0.011ng/ml,0.07ng/ml,0.02ng/ml,0.1ng/ml and 0.037ng/ml respectively by The national standard method. The lowest detection of limits of As,Pb,Cd,Cr and Hg were 0.047ng/ml,0.02ng/ml,0.015ng/ml,0.13ng/ml and 0.051ng/ml respectively by ICP-MS.Simultaneous determination of multiple heavy metal elements in jelly by ICP-MS.ICP-MS had advantages of short period and high efficiency of analysis.
