The invention relates to an electronic smoking set and a smoking frequency detection method for the electronic smoking set. The electronic smoking set comprises a smoking set body, a temperature sensing element and a circuit board, after energization, heat is produced inside the smoking set body, and the heat heats the air inside the smoking set body. A temperature sensing end of the temperature sensing element is located in an airflow channel, so that the heat produced inside the smoking set body can radiate to the temperature sensing end of the temperature sensing element. When a smoking action is produced, outside air enters an air inlet channel from an air inlet and flows into a containing cavity, and airflow flowing in the airflow channel is formed, so that temperature values detected by the temperature sensing end during smoking and non smoking situations are different and temperature variation is known; and the circuit board obtains smoking frequency according to the temperature variation, so that the smoking frequency can be obtained only by detecting the temperature variation by virtue of the temperature sensing end of a temperature sensing wire without inducing negative pressure, so that the smoking frequency detection accuracy can be effectively improved.
