Состояние нервно-мышечного аппарата у детей на фоне химиотерапии по данным электрофункциональных методов исследования

2014
High-dose chemotherapy can cause loss of peripheral nerve, neuromuscular junction or muscle at any level. The features of indicants of electroneuromyography in 26 patients using various chemotherapy drugs (busulfan, fludarabine, vifend, vincristine, methotrexate and azathioprine) are investigated. Was obtained the reduction of the M-response, statistically significant difference in the speed of propagation of excitation along the nerves and F-response, that may indicate features of nerve damage in patients taking various chemotherapeutic drugs. Mixed type of damage could be the result of long-term treatment with different drugs and the influence of the oncological disease. The complex nature of toxic polyneuropathy in pediatric oncology induced by chemotherapeutic agents was traced, that can be explained by the peculiarities of the toxic influence of various drugs on the peripheral nervous system.
