Volatile Constituents of Teucrium stocksianum Boiss. ssp. stocksianum from Iran

Abstract The volatile constituents of Teucrium stocksianum Boiss. ssp. stocksianum were isolated by hydrodistillation and the essential oil was analyzed by GC and GC/MS. Thirty-eight compounds representing 97.7% of the oil were identified of which camphene (20.6%), α-cadinol (19.7%), myrcene (10.2%) and carvacrol (9.9%) were major.
