NUCLEAR MAGNETIC RESONANCE OF F$sup 20$ BY POLARIZED NEUTRON CAPTURE AND $beta$-DECAY ANISOTROPY

1963
The nuclear magnetic resonance of F/sup 20/ (T/sub 1/2/= 11.4 sec) was observed by means of the polarized neutron capture, BETA -decay anisotropy technique. The nuclear g factor was found to be +1.047 plus or minus 0.001 nm/ h (corrected for atomic diamagnetism). The principles of the experiment and the techniques used are discussed. (auth)
