The invention discloses a method for making a dynamic digital child publication by virtue of computer software. The method is characterized by comprising the following steps: creating an efficiency-improvement electronic book making project; adding a page in an electronic book; importing resource materials involved in the book page into the project; editing parameters of the materials such as dimensions, proportions, positions, rotating angles and transparency by virtue of a visual making tool; adding various complicated animation functions to the materials by virtue of the visual making tool, or/and adding a complicated interaction function to the materials; adding other multimedia contents such as pictures, sounds and characters into the page by virtue of the visual making tool; creating a new page, and repeating the third to six steps; outputting the electronic book, wherein the electronic book can be identified and read by a PC (Personal Computer), a mobile client and other clients. The method has the advantages of convenience, high efficiency and low cost.
