Experimental Investigation and Performance Parameter Analysis of Biodiesel Blend- Methyl Ester on Single Cylinder Diesel Engine

2020
Nowadays we need biodiesel fuel instead of diesel fuel because it is made from non-edible Vegetable-oil, fatty acid, and fried oil. Using oil blends converts as “Biodiesel”. Biodiesel is oxygenated fuel and its production cost is low, eco-friendly, produced locally too. The world is now facing major problems like fossil fuel depletion and environmental damage. Fossil fuel oil is near future will become rare due to its oversimplified extraction and consumption. Hence considered biodiesel has promising option that they are squeaky clean renewable fuel oils and best substitute for diesel fuel oil in any IC engine. This paper represents the emission and combustion characteristics of blends in the VCR engine. Biodiesel synthesized from Argemone maxicana oil using KOH as Broadcast (Emission, Issue) analysis catalyst was investigated on VCR engine. Blends (Biodiesel Diesel) of B6, B12, B18, B24, B30, B36, and B100 were prepared at 60–70 °C. The engine emissions such as nitrogen oxide, carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, oxygen will be studied and compared with diesel.
