The preparation method of the donkey-hide gelatin paste is implemented as follows: a. extracting, adding 8-10 times of water by weight part into raw materials such as codonopsis pilosula, rhizoma atractylodis macrocephalae, astragalus mongholicus, radix paeoniae alba, liquorice and fructus Lycii, boiling for 2-4h, discharging boiling liquid, then adding water being 4-6 times of the raw materials by weight part in dregs of a decoction, boiling for 1-3h, discharging the boiling liquid, and filtering to obtain filtrate; b. concentrating: concentrating the filtrate obtained in the step a to obtain concentrated solution; c. melting the gelatin and sugar: respectively taking donkey-hide gelatin and brown sugar, respectively adding 3-5 times of purified water by weight part, heating and stirring until the donkey-hide gelatin and the brown sugar are melted, and filtering to obtain donkey-hide gelatin juice-brown sugar water solution; and d. preparing the liquid and filling: adding potassium sorbate into the concentrated solution obtained from the step b and the donkey-hide gelatin juice and brown sugar water solution, and uniformly mixing, then conducting steam concentration, concentrating under the condition that the temperature is 100 DEG C-120 DEG C, and the pressure is 0.1-0.25MPa until the relative density is more or equal to 1.08, and filling to obtain a finished product.
