1. The Committee received an update on Robinson, Farmer, Cox’s assessment of the Town’s financial condition and revenue and expense trends. TM Saunders reported that RFCA has all of the information they need and he hopes there will be more to report by the time of the Council meeting. 2. The Committee discussed at length the new requirement for the Town to pass a resolution if it wishes to pay the employee’s contribution toward the VRS for anyone hired after July 1, 2010, as it does for all current employees. Staff recommends continuing with current policy. The Committee decided to bring it before Council without recommendation. Recommendations to Council: Action item 1. Approve disbursements as submitted by staff. (√) Action item 2. Consider “Plan 2” VRS employee contribution, per attached resolution template. (√)
