Natural quorum sensing molecules and related structural analogues is of significant biological interest in the development of methods to manipulatebacterial quorum sensing systems in a useful manner. therefore, here we report synthesis of N-sulphonated and acylated homoserine lactone derivatives. Many of these molecules are synthesized based around the structures of known, native bacterial auto-inducers. And these molecules will be tested for quorum sensing activity.
