COMPUTERIZED AXIAL TOMOGRAPHY OF THE CEREBRAL VENTRICLES AND SUBARACHNOID SPACES

Pathologic alterations of the cerebral ventricles and subarachnoid spaces are well demonstrated by computerized tomography with the EMI scanner.Hydrocephalus, arachnoid and porencephalic cysts, cerebral atrophy, tumors, hemorrhages and congenital anomalies are illustrated.These examples were selected from the scans of more than 500 patients.
