Sulfa-metalloprotease inhibitors

Sulfa-metalloprotease inhibitors. They consist of sulfonamides formula (I), wherein R1, R2, R3, R10, R20, R21, are defined in the specification and claims. These products are metalloprotease inhibitors. The invention also relates to pharmaceutical compositions containing these products, methods for their use, and methods for preparing the compounds. The products of the invention are used for the treatment of mammals having disease states that are alleviated by the inhibition of metalloproteinases mentioned.
