Fabrication and characterization of photo-detector based on CdSe0.5S0.5 quantum dots

A photo-detector was fabricated using colloidal CdSe0.5S0.5 quantum dots (QDs) in diameter about 7 nm by assembling QDs into electrodeswith 20 micrometer separation using dielectrophoresis (DEP) process. An obvious photoconductive behavior was observed, demonstrated a capable of potential application in optoelectronics device.
