The topic of the city and its relation with the learning process
is a part of the actual debate of the strenght, that represents the
scene education – learning in the formation of an urban culture
from the school. By means of the knowledge and Appropriation of
emblematic modals, of messages, memories, imaginary and identities,
constructed in the real and symbolic context, the social actors enter
the complexity of the urban universe; not only to recognize it but it
to be felt by part of their life and to compromise with the practice of
civil formation. In this area, we try to make a theoretical,
methodological and didactic reconstruction of the relation cityschool-
society, from a vision of complexity and discipline.
