The interrogation system for FBG sensing based on the InGaAs linear image sensor

This article presents an interrogation system based on the InGaAs linear image sensor. By applying SDM and WDM techniques, the interrogation system based on the InGaAs linear image sensor is designed and the system performance is analyzed. Experimental results show that the interrogation system can be used to interrogate the FBG sensors with wavelength bandwidth of 42 nm, SNR of 43 dB, wavelength accuracy of ±10 pm, and wavelength stability of ±15 pm.
