The effect of risk management for the patients with maintenance hemodialysis

Objective To explore the influence of risk management for adverse events of patients with maintenance hemodialysis. Methods A total of 110 cases of patients treated with hemodialysis in our hospital from January 2012 to January 2015 were selected as the research objects and divided into observation group and control group according to the different nursing methods, 55 cases in each group.The observation group adopted the risk management nursing method, while the control group adopted the conventional care.The satisfaction for nursing and adverse events of the two groups were compared. Results The satisfaction for nursing of the observation group was 94.54%, which was obviously higher than that of the control group, P<0.05.The incidence rate of adverse events of the observation group was 5.45%, which was lower than that of the control group, P<0.05. Conclusions The implementation of risk management for patients with maintenance hemodialysis can improve the satisfaction for nursing, reduce the incidence of adverse events, thus it is worthy of clinical application and promotion.
