Cu‐Mediated Nitrogen Atom Transfer via CN Bond Cleavage.

The first copper promoted aerobic oxidative N-atom transfer via simultaneous cleavage of the CN triple bond and the C—CN bond of acetonitrile to produce aryl nitriles in high yields is described.
