Studies on the isozymes of transformaed calli of Linum usitatissimun,Onobrychis viciaefolia Scop.and Alhagi pseudalhagi obtained by Agrobacterium tumefaciens mediated chitinase gene transformation

Transformed calli of Linum usitatissimun,Onobrychis viciaefolia Scop.and Alhagi pseudalhagi were previously obtained by A.tumefacicens mediated transformation transferring chitinase RC24 gene into the three plants.The screening patterns of peroxidase isozymes (POD) and esterase isozymes (EST) in these cell lines exhibited remarkably differences compared with those of their controls.These results suggested the possible existence of changed products of gene expression in the three transformed cell lines,and that the foreign chitinase RC24 gene,which was introduced into the three plants,might be the cause of these variations in transformed calli of the three plants.
