Accurate evaluation of electromagnetic scattering from large and complex aeronautical intakes

Accurate analysis of the scattered field generated by complex aeronautical intake of arbitrary shape is one of the most difficult problems to deal with in the design of low observable aircrafts. The problem is further complicated when inside the intake are present materials with and/or without losses. The proposed solution allows the evaluation of the contribution to the overall scattering due to the intake through a full-wave approach based on MLFMA.
