Corrosion-resistant maraging steels for microinstruments

1. Intermetallic-hardening steels 25Kh12M12K10N (EP928) and 03Kh12K10M6N4T (EP927) have good mechanical and technological properties and resistance to corrosion, permitting them to be used for parts with thin sections <1 mm, long length, and complex shapes. 2. The use of steels 25Kh12M12K10N and 03Kh12K10M6N4T simplifies the manufacturing process for micro-instruments, excluding quenching and straightening, greatly improving the quality and service life of microinstruments (by a factor of 4–7).
