Assessment of Fetal and Neonatal Cardiac Geometrics by Means of Real-Time Ultrasound

1979
A dynamically focussed two-dimensional real-time linear array ultrasonic scanner (Organon Teknika), was used for visualization of the various fetal and neonatal cardiac structures. The frequency of the array was 3.12 MHz. Two single beam transducers were used for antenatal and neonatal M-mode recording. The frequency was 2.25 and 5.0 MHz, the diameter 13 and 6 mm respectively.
