Normalization of PIXE measurements along single human hairs by nuclear reaction

Abstract In simultaneous (d,p) reaction and deuteron induced X-ray measurements the N/C and S/N ratios were found to be constant along a single hair, therefore the sulphur K X-ray intensity was suggested for normalizing PIXE spectra.
