Mathematical Description of the Rod Material Properties

The problems of increasing the stability of rolled rod properties and the means to improve the production quality are investigated with reference to the modern twothread wire rolling-mill. The rods of the carbon and allowed steels of diameter 5.5 - 10mm would up in bundles with a mass up to 2 tons with the speed 55m/s are analysed. The relationships between the mechanical properties, the structure and the chemical composition of smelting are obtained. The technological parameters of rolling and coooling are taken into account that permits to control the rolled rod quality during production.
