Magnetic Ion Exchanger Based On Poly (1-inylimidazole) For Solid Phase Extraction-Determination Of Some Chemical Important Species
2017
In this project, a magnetic poly (1-vinylimidazole-divinylbenzene) nanocomposite was synthesized and Then, it was reacted with bromoethane to prepare a magnetic cationic adsorbent. The new absorbent, then was characterized by X-ray diffraction spectroscopy, Scanning electron microscopy, FT-IR spectroscopy, Vibrating sample magnetometry and Thermogravimetric analysis. The prepared cationic adsorbent was applied to the enrichment-determination of nitrite and tetryl. Nitrite was converted to a diazonium-cation, when was reacted with metoclopramide (MCP) or sulfanilic acid (SAC) in acidic media. The aryl diazonium-cations then, were coupled with 1-naphthol to produce two azo dye. Under optimum condition of extraction, calibration cures for nitrite were obtained in the range of 0.05-9.0 and 0.1-14.0 ng ml-1 of MCP and SAC, respectively. Alkaline hydrolysis was used to produce nitrite from tetryl. The produce nitrite then, was converted to the pre-mentioned azo dyes prior to extraction-elution, for tetryl analysis the linear ranges for tetryl determination by MCP and SAC system were 0.5-140.0 and 1.0-230 ng ml-1, respectively. The presented methodswere successfully applied for determination of nitrite and tetryl in various water and soil samples.
