Avaliação Dos Registros De Enfermagem Acerca Da Reação Transfusional

Objective: to evaluate the nursing records about transfusional reactions of intensive care units of a tertiary hospital. Method: this is a documentary and transversal study, carried out from February 2018 to January 2019, based on the records of patients who have been transfused in 2015 in the intensive care units of a tertiary hospital. A data collection instrument (checklist style) was applied during data collection process. Descriptive analysis was performed, and the percentage of the data was estimated. Results: 194 records of patients were evaluated, where in 173 (88.2%) of them it was included information on the identification of patients, in 124 (63.9%) of the records contained information about the occurrence of transfusion reactions and 47 (24.2%) had complete informations of possible transfusion reactions. Conclusion: nursing records can be categorized as flawed, with a view to detecting inconsistencies in medical records of patients requiring the holding of educative activities developed for the nursing staff.
