“Ad Meliora”: Towards an Improved Approach to Global Software Engineering Curriculum

Software engineering education in Japan is an established field, with more students being increasingly attracted to this area. However, many Japanese academic institutions lack a vision of the global aspects of software engineering teaching. This work will present some of the lessons learned during an introductory software engineering course held at a Japanese university, in a multicultural classroom.
