Compounds, compositions containing them, and their use for stabilizing organic material

This invention relates to novel compounds which are tris (substituted o-hydroxyphenyl) -s-triazines which one hydroxyl group is in ortho blocked 2 hydroxyl groups in ortho are free. These novel compounds are effective as stabilizers for organic material such as a synthetic polymer, a photographic material, a coating material, or skin, human hair or the fur of animals, in particular as UV absorbers.
