The embodiment of the invention provides a network simulation method and a network simulation device. The network simulation method comprises that: a simulation visualized interactive process positioned in a network simulation platform receives an simulation command sent by a control process positioned outside the network simulation platform in an external process communication mode; the simulation visualized interactive process transmits the simulation command to a corresponding simulation network element process in the network simulation platform in an internal process communication mode; the simulation visualized interactive process receives a simulation result output after the simulation network element process executes the simulation action according to the simulation command in the internal process communication mode; and the simulation visualized interactive process outputs the simulation result to the control process in the external process communication mode, so that the simulation result is displayed and output through the control process. Through the method, a user can simulate an appointed network element required to be simulated flexibly by inputting the simulation command and can obtain the simulation result in real time so as to improve the flexibility and simulation credibility.
