The knowledge of bee flora of a given region is an essential tool for the beekeeper to optimize their production. This study developed in the State of Piaui aimed to identify and catalog the bee tree species in the regions considered Polo State (Northern, Sierra Capybara, Picos and Simplicio Mendes), as well as observing the flowering period and its ability to nectar and / or pollen by bees. The apibotânico survey was conducted between the months of August 2009 to December 2010. Were made of plant material collected monthly in accordance with the flowering period, and for the presence of bees. The plant material was herbarium according to the usual techniques in botany, and sent to the Laboratory of Animal Science, Federal University of Campina Grande - Campus de Pombal to be identified. Were cataloged 38 species of woody plants, and of these, 11 species were flowering in the dry season, with seven plants flowering in the rainy season and 18 flowering plants presented from one station to another, and 16 species with pollen and fitness nectar by the bees. Among the 17 families of species identified and cataloged in the regions of the semi-arid have: Anacardiaceae, Bignoniaceae, Burseraceae, Chrysobalanaceae, Euphorbiaceae, Fabaceae, Fabaceae-Faboideae, Fabaceae-Mimosoideae, Lecythydaceae, Leguminosae- Caesalpinoideae), Leguminosae-Mimosoideae, Leguminosae, Mimosaceae, Moringaceae, Myrtaceae, Rhamnaceae, and Sapindaceae.
