Conglomerates’ Corporate Universities: Major Engine Behind the Growth and Success of HRD in South Korea

This chapter presents the major characteristics of South Korean firms’ corporate universities, which manage organizations’ tailored HRD systems and implement a variety of training and development interventions. It describes the important role that corporate universities play as training and development platforms for addressing talent issues in a challenging business landscape.
