Particle morphology and processing properties of niobium powders

Investigations of niobium powders produced by various processes under laboratory and industrial conditions have demonstrated the feasibility of obtaining niobium powders with various (spherical, irregular, rounded, and the like) particle shapes and processing characteristics. The above-described analysis of compressibility and determinations of compact porosities make it possible to choose a suitable powder for any specific requirements from among those investigated.
