Charging a battery

A method of charging a battery from a charging device (1), characterized in that it comprises the following steps: - (E12) the future temperature estimation of the battery over a future period between a time of start and end of the period; - (E25) Planning of the battery on the future period based on the estimated future temperature of the battery at said future time to minimize the calendar aging of the battery; - (E3) Charging the battery during at least one charging period defined during the planning stage.
