Knitted fabric filler for thermal insulation with improved pile loss, manufacturing method thereof and use threrof

2017
The present invention relates to a knitted filler for insulation with reduced ply loss, a production method thereof, and a use by using the same. The knitted filler for insulation with reduced ply loss, specifically a cross-linked napped fabric which is nap-processed after weaving multiple strands of pilomotor fibers on one longtitudinal side of a base fiber at regular intervals. To this end, a composite spun fiber in which a low melting point polyester resin is disposed on a sheath part is woven on the pilomotor fiber, or the cross-linked napped fabric into which a composite spun yarn is inserted is used without the base fiber when weaving a base matrix. By allowing the low melting point polyester resin on the sheath part of the composite spun fiber to be fused first under a specific temperature, the ply loss can be remarkably reduced, and partial fusion can secure insulation functions and light-weightiness on final products while preventing texture from being hard due to heat.
