The invention relates to a preparation method for porous MCrAlY alloy powder for hot spraying, relating to a preparation method for hot spraying global porous metal powder material suitable for being capable of directly preparing a porous wearable sealing coating. The preparation method is characterized in that the preparing process comprises the following steps of: mixing the alloy powder with hole forming material, granulating, and then vacuum sintering to obtain the metallurgical bonding porous metal powder material. The porous MCrAlY alloy powder for hot spraying prepared by the invention has high sphericility degree and good liquidity (50-60s/50g) and excellent hot spraying adaptability; the accumulated air hole volume is 0.01-0.2 cm-3/g; and the preparation method has high self-support intensity and controllable void ratio and particle size range. The sealing coating with uniformly distributed and sealed holes can be directly obtained without post-processing by using the powder to prepare the coating; the wearing resistance and the high-temperature oxidization resistance of the coating can be improved; and the preparation method is specifically suitable for the high-temperature sealing of aviation engine.
