Research on software comparison of electric energy data acquire terminal based on MD5 algorithm

In this paper a method of software comparison based on MD5 algorithm is proposed. By adding MD5 algorithm to the terminal program. The measured terminal executes the instruction by the software comparison system and generated MD5 value, by comparing the MD5 value of the measured terminal and the MD5 value of the recording software to judge the software version of the tested terminal whether changed. This method can implement local software comparison and remote software comparison, Each comparison takes 85 seconds. It can provide the MD5 value of source code reliably and reliably under the premise of protecting the supplier's intellectual property rights, achieve effectively controls the program version of the terminal.
